Divorce is hard. No one can convince me that it is an easy decision. I think it is a process as the decision is made – not a snap-of-the-fingers kinda process. For many the process is about facing fears.
One of the biggest fears is how a divorce will affect the children.
Before I go any further, listen to what 6 year old Tiana says she needs from her divorced parents. While it is kinda cute, it is also the view of many children when their parents divorce.
Tiana can be the spokesperson for many. Watch. If you are divorcing, listen.
Tiana is like so many children I’ve seen in my office in the past 20 years. They want their parents to get along and they want to be free to love them both.
It’s the reason I developed an eCourse called How to Keep Your Children Emotionally Healthy in Your Divorce. You can find out more about it by going to my website by clicking here Online Courses.
The course is for you if:
• You are considering a divorce or have been told by your spouse that it is happening
• You have already decided to divorce but haven’t implemented it yet
• You have already filed for divorce and are in the process of negotiations
When you go to my website and click on the page Online Courses, you can download some additional gifts related to divorce. They are available to you immediately. I designed them specifically to help you with your children and to help you navigate where an attorney can be of help.
When it comes to keeping children emotionally healthy in a divorce, children are counting on their parents to do “the very best in their hearts”.
If you are divorced and you are looking for the right thing to do, it comes out of the mouths of babes.
Until next time,
