Did you make a New Year’s Resolution for this year?

According to the Journal of Clinical Psychology:

“People who explicitly make resolutions are 10 times more likely to attain their goals than people who don’t explicitly make resolutions.”

So if you didn’t do it yet, then let’s get explicit right now. What do you say?

I’m excited to tell you that I’m quoted in the current issue of SUCCESS Magazine with explicit ideas about how you can be more productive in 2015.

Click here to read the article on how to increase your own productivity.

Even though most people would agree that being more productive is a pretty good goal, it isn’t in the Top Ten of New Year’s Resolutions.

I know . . . I was surprised too!

Then I thought more about it, especially after I read this list of the Top Ten:

1. Lose Weight
2. Get Organized
3. Spend Less, Save More
4. Enjoy Life to the Fullest
5. Stay Fit and Healthy
6. Learn Something Exciting
7. Quit Smoking
8. Help Others in Their Dreams
9. Fall in Love
10. Spend More Time with Family

Did Number 9, Fall in Love, catch your eye? It did mine.

If you are wanting any of the things that are outlined in the Top Ten, then you have to be more productive to make each of them happen.

Well, that’s what I think!

As we get ready to welcome the second month of 2015, ask yourself if you are happy with what you wanted to achieve in the first month of the year.

Did you get started?

Are you on target?

Do you need to pick up the pace?

What are you going to do to follow through on the goals you set for this year? Well, whatever you need to do, be explicit about it to be successful.

Okay . . . get at it and make it happen, whatever it is!

Until next time,
